for those of you that don't know, Matt Dardas makes some great bullets at a very reasonable price and quick shipping. I just ordered my first batch of 2k 9mm about 3 weeks ago. it got to my door in georgia in 3 days and they are QUALITY. every bullet is perfect!

    Hi Sass,

The checkout will display the total of the order and also the individual prices. There are so many ways to construct a webstore and I picked this way because it offered the quickest way to get online. The other way is to create products for each bullet diameter and count. This would require an additional set of items. If there is enough interest in seeing the prices prior to viewing the individual prices and the total then i will have to set out to recode all the items and change the attributes.

Sometimes the easiest and quickest way isn't the best way. Any others like or dislike the webstore? I would sure appreciate your input!

    Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I personally felt it a little bit awkward that the price wasn't there.

I did add the items to the cart and went to the checkout to see if it would list the item price, which it did, but I got the odd feeling like I was signing my name to the dotted line without reading the fine print.

I will work on getting the individual items listed separately (style, weight, diameter and individual price). In the mean time, the checkout will list the individual price and the grand total 'without signing your name to the dotted line':).

Stand by for an update to the store.

The addition of 30/"303" cal bullets sized .309"-.314" or so, GC and plain would be nice, as would selectable larger sizing for at least "9mm" and ".38" intended bullets.

+1 rather see prices for each quantity up front. Maybe even cost per bullet at that quantity. Bookmarked for my next purchase.

Thank you very much for the input - we sure do appreciate it! I am working on adding all the individual items in the shopping cart. I project that it will be completed by this coming Sunday evening.

In the meantime, enjoy that leftover turkey/ham (with a little hot sauce please)!

I've ordered from you recently and was very pleased with the bullets and prices. I was looking forward to your new website and was also a little disappointed that I couldn't see the prices. I know you showed them on your old website. It may be more work for you to add the individual prices before the checkout, but as a consumer, I think it should increase your sales. I don't like the extra time it takes for me to go through the checkout to see the bullet price, especially when I'm looking at ordering various calibers and bullet weights. New customers may leave rather than going to the shopping cart to find the price. If you decide to go to the extra work of adding the individual pricing, thank you. I think you will find it is worth your time in the long run.

Another reason to support you. A fellow heat lover. Can you add some good Jamaican Sauces to your website as well? :fire:

You can see the prices if you add the products that you're interested in buying to the shopping cart, and then pruning from there.

More praise for Dardas Cast Bullets.

I emailed Matt about oversized (.433" diameter) .44 Rem. Mag. bullets for my overbored Puma 92. He did not have a mold for these, but at my request he ordered a mold for my needs. I ordered a 1000 bullets and shot them for the first time last week. They make my Puma shoot like it is supposed to.

I can't imagine anyone being more accomodating than Matt Dardas. Thanks Matt!

    Broken record? Guilty.

Great guy, great bullets. Filthy, dirty, annoyingly lucky that he's 11 miles (round trip) out of my way on the way to the family cottage up north. No shipping. Sick. :)

I'll have to hit him up about doing rifle and/or gas-checked bullets. I'd pay him what he needed, but rest assured (if willing) I'd get exactly what I was hoping for or better and find myself pleasantly surprised (again) at the actual range results. To have someone like Matt close to home, well, it's a real perk.

    Real Truth:
I, and/or my wife, shot out the 3.5" bullseye and held the entire 40 rounds inside 5.3" discounting 3 flyers today at the range. At 50 yards. Admittedly during some comparison testing on the machine rest... but still... Rainer 115's held about a 6" big hole with a 9" spread (50 shots) and the 122 cast TC's I had from before I found Dardas Cast held "minute of paper" as it turns out. The guy's NOT PLAYING I guess. Never tested at this range or in this size group.

Velocities in terms of standard deviation, and extreme spread, shockingly (?) matched the rainiers. The other cast bullets were not even close, and thank goodness I tested them last given the leading difference.

All loads were pushed by W-231. The Dardas 124 9mm RN were set ahead of 4.4gr and at an OAL of 1.125" - short for a RN but necessary to feed right into my pistol's lands without hangup.

This was not an informercial (I'm sorry) but I've got a crush on his bullets, and the fact he's nearby. Tough times in Michigan, wouldn't know it by his prices vs. quality. Eventually I've got to hit him up for freebies because I've about typed myself out, and I've only shot his 9mm at that. Too much old lead to get rid of and then we'll be good buddies. Soon enough his 45's and 44's will be making my dirt mounds heavy. Soon.

Please be patient (as you all are)!

I ran into a snag with posting the pricing. We are using a new software package (MIVA Merchant) and I'll be darned if I can find where the settings are for the store display (prices). So, come Monday morning at 10:00am our time I will be calling MIVA to get the pricing to show up on the items - stand by!

I am very happy with the results that you are realizing Nick. I only expect those great results from our bullets. I hope that we can someday have our bullets shot out of your winning competition gun at a major match!:)

66GTO - I actually ordered a 0.433" sizing die specifically for your application. I miked the 'as cast' 44-240's and determined that there would be enough diameter to actually produce an accurate 0.433" .44 for you. You did your homework well!:)

CBP - I am a died in the wool Louisianna Hot Sauce Guy myself. I had to cut out the salt completely and I started using the Sauce on a regular basis on everything! And I do mean everything!

You'all have a great weekend (what's left of it) and I will post tomorrow morning when the prices are showing up. Thank you to all! I really do appreciate your feedback!

Matt is a great guy and has awesome bullets, looking forward to the changes on the website, I found it a little difficult to navigate for the pricing.

    Mr. Dardas!

I want to say awesome site, very easy to use, will use for future purchases. I enjoy the idea that I can buy 100 bullets to try, then buy in bulk later (where most other casters seem to push 1000s at a time, nothing less).

    Kudos!

Great site update... but you might want to check the pricing on the 500 ct as it is listed for $8.75... and that price is just too good to be real!

    Hi Phil!

Thank you for the heads up! Correction has been made!

    Hi Battle!

Yup! There are plenty of shooters that would prefer to order 100 count packages to try prior to buying larger quantities.
