Date of Sako L61r

I recently got 2 Sako L61Rs one in 270 and one in .264wm. The serial numbers are 39XX and 30xx. Can anybody help me with a manufacture year or direct me somewhere that can.

Anybody???? I am thinking they must be 1961 or 1962 but some more solid info would be better than my hunch.

L61R dates = 1/31/62 to 9/2/73 with serial numbers running from 1 to 90954.

What's that, roughly 7500 a year?

Note the note on the Sako .pdf file "The old numbers are only indicative" IOW, they're guessing.
