can anyone please help me date this shotgun

it's a Winchester Model 1300 XTR (extra-with beautiful Walnut furniture w/ cut checkering, pistol grip but plate and jeweled bolt)

I'm pretty darn sure the trigger guard is metal and not plastic on this one.

    s/n is LX0770??

It's trying to follow me home !!

    No. :)

From the Blue Book (26th Ed.):

"Model 1300 Featherweight Slide Action" made "1978-1993"

"This model had an XTR suffix until 1989. Older Model 1300 Featherweights had roll-engraving but no premiums are being asked at this time."

98% condition = $260 (last year's Blue Book; before Win went under.)
