I'm a relatively new lurker here on the shotgun board, but after taking a few of Dave McCracken's 101 courses, I can't help but wonder why he doesn't have his own sticky with all of his entries?

Just a thought

Still Reading and learning,
Rob

My guess would be the availability of the "Search" function. If anyone just puts in "101" for the subject and "Dave McCracken" for the user name, they'll get his seminal threads.

good point. besides, we wouldn't want to end up with 3/4 page of stickies, and only 1/4 page of other posts, like some forums

A couple things...

One, I never was a Mod at TFL, though the difference was not obvious.

Two, it's not hard to find the 101s here, and I dislike cluttering up the top of this forum any further.

Patterning 101 has a top spot simply because it's so crucial and because I had so many inquires about it.

When time allows, I plan on adding a few threads to the TFL floater. One about buying a double, for instance.

As for seeing that someone is finding the 101s helpful, thanks for making my morn.....

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...

Oh you were a Moderator all right, Rich just never got around to officially telling you is all. :p

Don't care ...Dave has always been a Mentor and Elder to many of us, for too long...'sides, Titles don't pay for ammo, or put gas in his truck to get to the range, hunting spot, or to pick up RCs and Moonpies...

Rich had a few things to say, Steve, but we ironed out our differences.

FYI, when I had my angioplasty last year, the Manly Men at SWAT and TFL sent me a teddy bear and flowers. I appreciated them greatly and still do. Great bunch of folks. I'd spend more time over there, but I've rarely time enough to cover here.....
