Well I decided to shoot for the moon and get one of these things. It is a beautiful walnut stock PCP in 177 cal. and I have never shot a gun that is as accurate at 50 yards. Not even my Marlin 39A can match it.

The gun is ridiculously expensive, but a one time shot so to speak. It has a Lothar Walther tuned barrel and it is regulated so that it delivers the same force of air for each shot until the tank pressure falls off the regulator which is over 200 shots per fill.

Daystate has been slow to make a regulated gun and there have been 2 or 3 versions of this rifle before they finally decided to come of age and make a regulated version. From what I can see up to now, they did a great job, but that is what Daystate is known for.

With the Huggett moderator on the front of the barrel, it is quiet enough to shoot in a library with no complaints of noise.

    A fun gun for sure.

Looks nice. I have been interested in these.
What is the trigger like exactly. Can we see a pic with moderator?

The trigger is better than most guns have coming out of the factory. I polished the rubbing parts, molly lubed them and made it supreme. It is a two stage adjustable for take up, position front to back and angle sideways. It is also adjustable for pull weight and that is where it was a little weak. The polish solved that.

Here is a generic picture with the moderator. It is a WOW looking gun.
The shot count in 177 is above 200 per fill and the FPS is 860 with H&N Barracuda 10.5 grain pellets.

I take it this must be a great rifle to take into the field. The air bottle can be removed and replaced easily, correct? Not that you'd need more than 200 shots while out and about:)

As far as being expensive, with the amount of shooting you can get in with an air gun (most anyway), why not have something that is top shelf?
