dead horse alert!, get the sticks!! it's beating time!!

I know, this question has been asked a million times on a million forums, and I've read a couple thousand of them, but there is no real consensus. So, lower-midrange priced scopes, roughly 3-9x40 power. 4-12 is acceptable. in the 130-$200 range. there are lots of good ones, any one clearly a winner? I've narrowed about 30 choices to a few promising ones:

vortex diamondback
sightron SI
redfield revolution
weaver classic V
weaver 40/44
burris fullfield 2
burris timberline
bushnell 3200

I know you can always spend a little more and get something better, so I'm drawing a line. $200 is going to be a hard ceiling. if I can't find something on sale for less than 200 it's out. I don't care how much better it is. so leupold, zeiss, etc,......too bad. And if a $140 sightron is virtually indistinguishable from a $200 vortex, well $70 buys a lot so powder.

I found this review very helpful, but I'm always up for a second opinion http://www.opticstalk.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=21176&KW=cheap+review&PID=267216#267216

Look at the newly introduced Redfield 3-9x40. They are made by Leupold, and carry their Warranty. Looking at $150.00.

redfield is 3rd on the list. the list is in no particular order. and the mueller looks pretty good. tiem for mor research!
