Wrench on bottom. Vice grips on what's left of the nut. twist anti clockwise. nothing. Really I don't care if I loose the pin. It's a Lee loadmaster press so I'm not to sure about locking it down in there and trying. A friend who's a mechanical engineer is going to take a look at it tomorrow. My wife is going to be in good shape. I pick up 500 FMJ .357 bullets tomorrow for her. All that part of the system works.

Why not just resize them. With the pin in. Catch the primers as you go along. After your done resizing. Prime the casings and continue on. If you go easy you won't ruin the primers. I broke down a bunch of steel case ammo in the past. And reused everything but the casings.

how did you decap and prime the brass without sizing it? did you get the brass primed from somewhere or use a different decapping die?

Did you put a vise grip on that spindle nut? I do hope you are turning the nut in the correct direction.

A 3/4 open end wrench will fit the flats on the die, and the 1/2 spindle nut is ruined. I suggest you check the rotation, looking at the spindle, it will come off counter clockwise. If you have a vise grips wrench, clamp it on the spindle nut. If you don't have a vise grip, get one.

After working on enough mechanical items, I have decided there are several people who need to be commended to perpetual veneration and invocation : Saint Vise Grip, Saint Duct Tape, and Saint Multitool.
Don’t forget Saint Punch, patron saint of gun owners.
All you need is a 4oz hammer and an 1/8th” steel punch. You can drive the pin out from the top.

Mr WestKentucky. If I'm understanding what your offering correctly you are indeed a Prince amongst men and I will name my new pistol after you.
No need to name any pistols after me. I am honored to help. We have a wonderful community here and people help each other out in so many ways that it’s unbelievable. Knowledge is passed freely, and with authority. Items get passed along when they are no longer needed. It’s the least I can do after gaining wisdom from some of the folks on here who literally wrote the books on the things we enjoy.

Back when I was reloading last several years ago and primers were $14.00 a 1000 my wife and I would just sit and watch TV and hand prime cases. She must have about 2000 primed .357 cases and about 1200 or so .38 cases primed. Some nights we'd get through 4 or 500 a night easy.
