    I know I answered allready, but if you have not gotten thru to him by now. Then I feel he is just pushing your buttons.
    His LEO father is just a sworn citizen, He is a civilian too, unless of course he is also in the military.

    No, retired military are military for life, and remain subject to the uniform Code of Military Justice for life.
