I busted the decapping pin on an old set of .22 High Power dies..all my decapping pins seem to measure .069 +or-..They are too large for these old dies..is there a smaller decapping pin that Im not aware of?
Thanks Gary

I can tell you that RCBS pins come in Large and Small sizes which are .070" and .060" respectively in diameter. So two sizes with about a .010" inch difference between large and small.

You could always find a drill bit that is the proper size. I had to do that with an ancient set of 30-06 dies I have (the brand name is eluding me, and im not near them...pacific somethinaruther)

Pacific Durachrome! Thats the name I was after. Thanks Reloadron!
A drill bit was what was in it, so when it busted (im an idiot...turned the turret and the press was against it) a drill bit is what i put back in it. I have oodles of them.
And yes, its a nice set of dies.

I have a set of Pacific Durachrome which was Pacific Tool Company Grand Island, NE. Actually a division of Hornady. Just out of curiosity I measured the decapping pin. It's .070" same as the RCBS Large pins. Those old Pacific dies are well made damn nice dies. I have a .357 set.

Small decapping pin

Sinclair makes a decapping die that comes with 5 pins. Three regular and two thin ones.
