I used my Ruger American .270 win.. I was holding out for something big, so I didn't kill my couse deer until the last day and had to settle for a dink. I had my opportunity though, and missed a shot at a really, really big one.
My DIL used her brand new Tika Super Lite, also .270 win.. She wasn't picky, and killed the first one she glassed up.
Our 2 friends, one used his Rem. 700 .270 win., and the other buddy used a Rem. 710, also .270 win.. One killed his first day also, as he wasn't looking for anything big either. But our other buddy held out like I did, and he killed his on the last day, like I did. But he managed to get a pretty decent one, not a monster, but definitely not a dink like mine.
And my son, well he killed his during the January archery season, so he just came along to help guide the rest of us.
So no issues filling tags here, just a lot of deer hanging in camp, gutting and skinning, most of which my DIL was insistent to do. She even took all the deer to the meat cutter, who is a family friend, then wouldn't let him cut the meat. That girl is amazing.
