Definitely not your everyday concealed carry

It appears to be something similar to a cap and ball? 22g[rams] of black powder behind a 28mm ball! Pretty cool!

It's a replica of a Remington 1858 cap n' ball revolver. I've seen pics of it floating around the net for years now, but this is the first time I saw a video.

Seems rather....tame for such a big piece. Maybe he powderpuffed the loads.

If you can call ANY load for that thing a powdepuff :p

**** !!!

That is too funny,as was them taking 2 men to bring it back to the car [ truck ? ].

Andre the giant [ rest in peace ] would not have been able to conceal that beast - might have been able to actually carry it though.

I'm wondering why they chose to designate it as a "Remington 1859." Remington's New Model Army, which this one appears to be based on, was actually made in 1863-1875 while the very first Remington revolver of this design, the Remington-Beals, was first manufactured in 1860. The 1858 date is when the design was patented so I don't usually kick when folks refer to the NMA as "the 1858." However, as far as I can find, there weren't even any Remington revolvers made in 1859.

Quite a gun, to say the least! Looks like some fine workmanship too. I wonder why he didn't go with a brass frame like the "repro" shown with it in the video? ;) ;)
