Very nice shooting
I do not have own a nice rifle like that, but my ol' Marlin .17 bolt gun will throw sub-fist size group at 200 yards with the exact aforementioned hold. It is fun to listen hard for the gong to twang after being hit with a 17 grain bullet that far.
Love my 17 hmr as well, it’s a blast to shoot as it’s so flat. Good shooting!
Marlins shoot great! I sighted-in my neighbor's rifle a while ago and was amazed that it shot sub-1 MOA groups at 100 yards!
I bought it used and got a good deal at Kittery (Maine) Trading Post, but it was a .22 WMR and I wasn't thrilled with it's accuracy, so ordered the .17 HMR heavy-fluted barrel and it transformed the rifle into one of my all-time favorite rifles! It handles better and feels great shooting it offhand or from a rest. I carry it when walking or riding down to the woods and blueberry fields behind the house.
It's usually too windy for long shots down back, but yesterday was a particularly windless day. Today, the wind is whipping at least to 20 mph!
I have the same barrel on my CZ 455 (different stock) and it will shoot sub MOA with several loads (prefers TNT and Gamepoints.
I haven't shot anything nearly as far as your crow, but good to know they are capable.
Thanks for sharing.
