Democrats pushing AWB with Confiscation

Gee, I was THERE off and on after Katrina. Do you know what due process is? All it means is that you get your day in court, and it doesn't happen before seizure in an emergency. Now, what happened in Katrina was as wrong as it gets, but isn't relevant to what we're talking about.

The police were seizing firearms without due cause. What will the next emergency be?

I know what due process is and it sure as hell wasn't working during Katrina. I wonder how many of those weapons seized ended up at the cops house? The NO police aren't exactly known for their honesty.

Keep in mind that due to various federal district/circuit courts and the SCOTUS justice appointments the next POTUS will make, who wins 2020 election could have profound effect on federal courts/SCOTUS rulings for decades, possibliy for generations.

Vote wisely in 2020 for gun rights/2A.

That means Trump. Little hope is better then no hope.

Swalwell is out there stumping for confiscation. Before y'all dismiss him out of hand I would not be surprised for this to be endorsed by all of the Dem candidates.

You can't buy back something that was never yours.

If you could I've got some "buy back" plans of my own. First I'll go out and confiscate a bunch of government money, then I'll give them a little of it back when I confiscate all the governments guns.

Neither Warren, Biden, Sanders or Harris will ever be President.
The betting markets say that one of them will be. So what hard data -- other than feelings -- do you have to show that that won't be true? Are you following the polls in Pennsylvania and Michigan, for example?

All the antigun talk right now is just.... talk. They're running in primaries in which most of the voters are antigun. What do you expect them to say?

Very different political realities will come to the fore once they get into the general election season, and after that, if they make it to the White House. It's very difficult to get anything radical through Congress.

The Senate could easily flip and the Dems retain control of the House.

Yes, like I said, I was there. We got the order here that if we saw them over here, to arrest them because they'd stolen the can and abandoned their post. Due process under exigent circumstances comes AFTER the emergency is over, and the aftermath of Katrina has nothing to do with RFLs.

You do realize that the technocrats have shown that they can swing millions of votes to whatever candidate that they want, right? Here is a hint, it won’t be towards Trump. So, while I’d like to agree with you that they never would be, it’s entirely possible that they could be with a little help from the technocrats and voter fraud, which we have seen happen and nothing done about it, aka found votes, like in Floridas case. Right. We live in scary times gents. I wouldnt be so quick to dismiss them.

The MSM is keeping with the narrative of "Russian meddling" in our past election but there is an overwhelming amount of circumstantial evidence (I know not worth nothing) that major domestic tech companies did in our last and will likely meddle with our next one.

Some folks on this site like to think that most gun owners will bow to whatever "laws" are implemented, and that is certainly true for some. I'm of the mind that there are far more than people would like to admit that will be defending their constitutional right to bear arms by all means neccessary. Personally I dont think the country can handle much of that without falling into complete disarray.

That is why I'm not that worried about the radical "gun reform" being laid out by the extreme left.

Polls are meaningless until Trump has a definite opponent. Until then it is all fluff and candy for the MSM who have got to fill air time 24/7.

I have no worries about that. Trump will win against anyone of these Socialists. I picked him in November, 2016, when even my spouse thought I was loco.

But we see who is in the WH and he will be there until 2025. I have confidence and faith, a great combination!

One of the dangers president Trump courts every time he sends a tweet is annoying people enough that they're willing to push back hard enough for long enough to send him packing.

Of course, the other side's constant cries of racism and white supremacy will not offend anyone

I find your comment deplorable and I'm gonna cling to my guns and bible :neener:

This seems to have moved away from a discussion about the AWB and confiscation to a debate about the results of the next election. So that means...
