I picked up a Remington yesterday at Dick's Sporting Goods in 22-250 (with the base, rings, cheap scope) on sale for $499.00. That isn't the deal though. Free Dick's card rebate $10 back in gift certificate, Remington rebate $40.00 check back, Dicks Remington rebate $30 back in gift card.

This brings the total $420 for a scoped SPS Varmint!

The best part of the deal was they told me they had a .223 when I called over the phone, but when I got there he was mistaken and had only a 22-250. They took another $10% off the top because of this.

It cost me $370+tax for the rifle when I walked out the door! Haven't had a varmint rifle before. Really looking forward to taking this one out to the range next week.

Got the same rifle in .223 last year. The trigger is a bit heavy, but I cured that problem easily. The 1 in 12 twist really likes the 45gr ammo. For the money, I don't think you can beat the combo.

I just got the 700ADL in 308 that Dick's has in the same deal. Awsome rifle. First time at the range it shot .69moa.
