I was looking for a Kadet kit for my P-09 and Optics Planet, on their page for that product, stated that it was discontinued. Is that factual?

Don't think that they're discontinued. Just did a quick look online and found tntgear.com has them in stock for $249.

Have one for my P01 (when I bought my P01 the sales clerk made me such a great deal on the Kadet .22 conversion kit, I couldn't say "No")! Then a couple of years ago after I picked up a P07 and my wife bought me the Kadet kit for it for Christmas! Both kits are very well made, easy to install, and fun to use!

I saw them too,....but when I went to check out, they had an error on their site where I wasn't able to pay.....and when I sent a message to them asking if they had them for sale, I got no response.

Every other place online that sells them are sold out. And the only ones on gunbroker are literally more than $100 more than that price from tntgear.

Yeah,...the one for the CZ 75 is discontinued. Their site doesn't even show any Kadet kit for the P-09.

Opps, seriously, my bad. Well, it reminded me to kick myself for not buying the previous version of the P-09 at blowout prices.
Not much to dig up on this.
There is a blerb in here:
"They will also stop offering the Kadet, their .22 Long Rifle training pistol, although they will continue to sell the Kadet Kit for converting centerfire CZs."

Perhaps it a prioritization of other firearms over the demand & shortages. It's listed as SKU 91618 on CZ custom, 01618 on TNT that bannockburn posted. That might help the googling if you haven't tried it. 01618 gets more hits.

Sorry if this is OT, but curious how well these operate...

Assuming the gun is cleaned and lubed, can you get 200-250 round through it without any failures?

Thanks!

I just tried tntgear.com again and even trying to send an email to them fails. I wonder if they're updating their site, or are even currently in business at this point?

Well I sent an email to CZ-USA and asked them if they were discontinued. I will let you know if I hear anything one way or another.

Just got an email from Jacob Cheney at CZ-USA that they are still making the P09 Kadet conversion but don't have any at this time. They are waiting on a shipment from the factory and have no ETA on when it will arrive.

I don't keep count, but my Kadet Conversion on CZ75 is very reliable. I did have to bevel the ejector as shown on the old CZ board to get clean ejection out from under the barrel extension, but the magazine is one of the best .22s I have seen. It is stiff, I am glad Uplula makes a loader for it.

I got a Kadet kit for the 75 about 2 years ago. Glad I did after seeing they’re discontinued. Mines been trouble free.

Thank you, bannockburn. I'll wait about getting one.......which means I'm not going to get those that are on gunbroker now for more than $100 more than they should be priced. I can wait!

I bought one for my CZ 75 it works on any of the CZ 75 Frames I believe. I have it on 75D compact presently. I have not had a malfunction with it yet. Wasn't cheap. $400.00 plus change I believe. Much better made than the AA kit's.

That is correct as I have my Kadet conversion kit on my P01. Took a little bit of fitting but I got it on there and up and running in no time.
