Did Smith & Wesson ever make an Endurance Package for the 686 .357?

    About the only thing you are likely to wear out on a .357 N frame is the cylinder stop. The reason is, if you shoot it DA fast the mass of that cylinder has a lot of momentum to stop. Even that takes a lot of fast DA shooting.

    It's funny though.
    I think the super redhawk is amazing looking, all business. I have a buddy that literally fell over laughing at my toklat when he saw it. Called it a space blaster pile of scrap and laughed some more. Didn't hurt my feelings , when he shot it you'd have thought he saw a ghost... Who's laughing now?
    But yes, I can see folks not liking the double action rugers based on looks but truly they do grow on you. Now I'm a darn near a ruger fan boy, I'm ok with it though.

    I can deal with the Redhawk, but the SRH is just a bridge too far for me. Just being honest. :D I might get around to buying a RH for touching off some nuclear .44 Mag. rounds someday, since I definitely wouldn’t rely on any S&W for that.

    Rugers have never done much for me personally, but I do respect them.
