Difference in .38 special Ammo

The venerable model 27, originally the Registered Magnum, that true first magnum N-frame, cries out for the real stuff.

On the other hand mine seems to shoot 148gr. wadcutters close to the same point of aim.
 
I'm a creature of habit and like shooting the full house magnum H110/296 loads. And when I shoot them I usually put at least 200 rounds in a session through my pieces. Yes, they are very stout and send me to the ibuprofen when I get home to kill the wrist pains. But a magnum is a magnum and deserves it's potential in my opinion, and it hurts so good! But shoot what ever you enjoy shooting, it's your dime.
