Im looking into 2 new 1911's, or new to me. One is standard Govenment model 70, and the second is a gold cup. I dont find much on gold cup. Does anyone know the differences...

Are you talking "original" Series 70 Gvmt and GCNM models dating back to the 1970s, or the later versions of recent years. There are different answers to your question depending on the vintages.

Like skipsan said, lots of variables, but most notably would be the Gold Cup has a match barrel, adjustable sights and an improved adjustable trigger.
