I just got the latest issue of Dillon's reloading little monthly catalog. For those who don't know it is a combination mail order catalog and gun magazine with several interesting articles often by noted gun writers.

This months issue had four or five feature articles. All but one was about revolvers. The classic handgun article was about the S&W 19 in .357.
Another was about the new Charter arms .327 magnum. Then another entitled "In defense of revolvers" touting their reliability and ease of revolver operation. Then there was another write up about the new stock service revolver class in IDPA that does not allow moon clips.

Are you starting to see a pattern emerging here? Is Dillon trying to boost interest in revolvers because they think that a total ban on semi-automatic firearms is coming? Do they know something that we don't? Will your 1911 become a class III restricted item?

Maybe there's just been more interest, lately, in a type of firearm that has been counted on since before John Moses Browning (bless him) was potty trained.

In a world full of the high-tech and overly complicated, revolvers are simple and work just as well as they always have.

    :D

You forgot the best part, the covers!

A pattern would be if several issues kept pushing revolvers. A single issue is "Gee guys, we need a topic. What haven't we emphasized in a long time?".
