Disassembling an AR Telestock?

    How is it done? Must the whole assembly be removed from the lower receiver, or can it be left on?

    I want to get mine apart for refinishing, but I honestly don't know how. :uhoh::eek:

    If you just want to remove the stock from the buffer tube - instead of squeezing the detent lever thingee up, pull it down/out as far as you can and the stock will slide off the end of the tube.

    How do you remove "da switch?"

    If you mean the detent lever thingee on the stock body, it's held onto the plunger by a roll pin. You punch the roll pin out, unscrew the detent, and try not to lose the spring under the detent.
