Disassembling problem in Taurus 605

Hi Cowboys. I own a Taurus 605 and I have a problem with dismantle the extractor rod. Is it strongly fixed in extractor or somewhere inside and I dont know how to dismantle it. Is it possible? The gun is new and functional. I own a Taurus Tracker 627 too and there it can be screwed out. Has the extractor rod in Taurus 605 an equivalent fixation or how is it? Veryvery THANX.

Howdy Hun,

Welcome to THR. Just curious why you are trying to remove the ejector rod. This shouldn't be necessary for cleaning.

I just meditate how they build it on. It's hold madly.

The rod has left-handed threads as you probably know. The unusual
thing I discovered is the metal collar right under the extractor star
is pressed in and it can be pried out carefully.
