Does anyone know where I might find a source of gas checks for .33 Winchester and/or .348 Winchester? I have a relative who still casts bullets and loads for them and whose supply of gas checks is dwindling.

On the Cast Boolits website there are occasional group buys of checks in odd sizes. There is also a discussion going on about making your own gas checks:

There are some guys on castboolits who modify gas checks to make them slightly larger too if I remember correctly. (Something like a non-running drill press with a bit to just slightly expand the checks) I suspect you could buy 8mm checks and expand them to fit but that's purely a guess.
