Did anyone see the episode of American Chopper where the Teutels went skeet shooting?

Also, last night's episode of Monster Garage was cool! Well, the vehicle itself wasn't as cool as the other builds. Jesse and his crew went to a local shooting range and he showed off his nickle plated Desert Eagle pistol and his custom West Coast Choppers titanitum S&W revolver!

That must have got the anti-gunners pissing in their pants! :neener:

I started a post on this topic four minutes after you did. :) I closed mine down.

Great shows. I'm a sucker for gear-head build shows.

I'm just really glad to see all of these Discovery channel shows portraying guns as normal, healthy, and just downright fun things. It is very refreshing.

And this really should be over in General Discussion. I'll move it.

Best episode of Monster Garage?
The one where they tried to convert a sports car into a dune buggy. It didn't work.

So Jesse James comes tearing up to the vehicle in a big SUV with a minigun mounted on the top. He then proceeds to tear the thing apart with plenty of tracer ammo.

Tres cool.

I am addicted to that 3-hour block on Discovery.. (Monster House, Monster Garage, American Chopper) Finally, reality TV with people I actually WANT to watch!! Looking forward to the retooled Junkyard Wars also..

Did anone notice what caliber Jesse's DE was?? I assumed .50AE, just knowing Jesse, but they also looked like .44mags..

R

American Chopper is the ONLY show I forceably make myself watch every time its on. I love that show. Monster Garage is cool....but it gets old to me.

Didn't know Jesse James was into guns too.
You must have missed the episode that Justin speaks of.

Jesse was shooting what appeared to be his 'giggle-gun,' the minigun. I know I could die a happy man if I got to tear a car up like that! :D

Jesse James is also one talented dude at fabricating and using an English Wheel. I've done some sheet metal work, I'm no slouch but he's ungodly at it. I've seen one of his bikes up close and it's stunning.

BTW, that was Mike Dillon's GE Minigun he tore the Mazda up with.

I was thinking when I saw it, "That's gotta be Mike Dillon's."

That's a good idea...For the next vehicle, he can build a Humvee with a ma deuce mount that reloads and relinks it's own spent brass.

Dillon Precision Humvee.

Hell, Mike'd fund the whole thing.

Monster garage is kinda cool, but American Chopper seems more about the beetching and drama between the parties than about building bikes.

Jesse James is a very talented guy.

The Teutels bolt together parts out of boxes. And I don't know why anyone would work in a place with that much drama and yelling going on, life is to short.:banghead:

I expect there's a lot of playing to the camera going on. Everyone plays their particular role. Still a fun hour though. Kind of like a workin'-man's Osbournes.

You'd have to watch the show, the son does alot more than bolt on construction. He's very talented. The mass produced bikes are bolt on. But even WCC builts bolt together bikes. You have to, to make any real money.
Only on the special bikes, being sold to people with more money than they know what to do with, is it feasible to hand fabricate most of the parts.

I actually thought that SUV with the minigun was one of these...

Till I saw the rerun and got a better look at it. I'd rather have the Viper from IbisTek :D

I do watch the show and I do like it but any high school metal shop could put out the stuff that Pauly makes.

As someone that has done machining and welding I'm not at all impressed by Pauly's skills as a fabricator. That is not to take anything away from his ideas and skill as a designer. I love the Firebike and the Commanche as much as anyone.

Nah...they can't afford the parts. :D

Give Pauly some credit...he lays a pretty bead.

And that fireman's bike is a work of art. Go ahead, say it ain't.

The bikes West Coast Choppers and Jesse make some sweet bikes.

The bikes that from American Chopper have cool design for bikes and nice bikes. But there more show than go.

If i had the money, i would get a bike from West Coast Choppers!!

Jesse with Minigun was allsome.

I like how Billy Lane works the revovler cylinder motif into his bikes.

I want a suicide shifter fabricated from a birdshead Vaquero.

The Deagle was a .44. They loaded it w/ American Eagle ammo. Jesse had a pretty weak grip on it and flinched a little, but that may have been from his shoulder injury. The cops shot well (surprise!) though I couldnt tell the distance most of them had nice groups. All the cops were shooting glocks.
That was the highlight of the episode as the crew worked very well w/out any drama and the vehicle is kinda boring.
