DOB for S&W 39-2

Hey guys and gals, if any of you have the S&W catalog handy, could you check when a S&W 39-2 was made? The s/n is A233008. I'd ask in the revolver forum sticky thread, but since it is an automatic I didn't know if it belonged in there.

Don't know if this is of any value, but mine was purchased new by me from a police supply whs in 1970 and bears a sn of A144xxx.

Great gun by the way. Had mine out friday and it will still cut the center out of a be tgt at 15 yds off hand.
