Does anyone else still own "gunbelts"?

In addition feeble attempt to resuscitate this thread, I'll post a pic of this mkll in a cheap kydex/nylon rig. This is often my late-night 'what's the dog barking at?' rig. 20250503_080823.jpg
I needed to find something to accommodate the mkll with its rds.
I think its a MAD DOG....or BLACK DOG...or some kind of dog...?
Im joking, but it's a pretty good holster....and a Uncle Mike's belt.

Yes and no.
My every-day belts tend to be "gun leather" just by preference.

I have a Sam Browne, if set up for sword carry rather than a pistol

And some historical versions, 1943

And, circa 1985:

All my gun belts are also my daily wear belts. Kore Essentials. Some models made in the USA! I’ve had a couple since 2019. LOVE the track belt!!!

They have good specials from time to time…definitely around the holidays. Check them out.

Same here, all my belts are Kore Essentials and since I no longer work, my dress belts are used for Church.

Sorry, I have been so busy lately I am late to the thread. I have quit a few holster/belt/ammo carrier rigs.

Here is one of my favorites for running around the hardwoods of north Texas:

IMG_4384.jpeg

It is from Tauris Holster and is his Rancher model. It's for my Glock 20.

Recently I added a Alaska Hunter Hip Holster from Diamond D leather as the Tauris rig is getting old.

I also have a spare 21 slide that slips right on and give my a nice .45 option.

I have a few other that I will try to get out and up here.

Yes I do but not modern style, mostly 19th century reproductions because that's what I make. Use them regularly shooting NCOWS and doing re enactments along with carrying around the farm at times.

I like those rigs. Very nice indeed.
The retention strap just says, 'classic outdoorsman'.
The fixed blade too.

What? No belt for SR9C?
The SR9c has always been a cc gun for me, so I have a few iwb holsters for it.
Don't laugh, but my owb holster is a Fobus paddle holster. It slips right under your belt, (or sweats, etc) and the gun snaps in place. A tension screw adjusts the retention. It's like $25.
I have one for my SP101 and another for kframe S&W.

My new favorite is this Simply Rugged "240" Rob made me with a matching two by two pouch for my old Rosdi 720 .44 special. I polished up the fire control parts and put Wolff springs in. Very smooth 7-pound DA only. It pops hard Remington magnum primers in some loads I made up for the purpose with 200-grain full wad cutters and action pistol powder.I just made a few as I wanted to be sure the 8-pound Woff spring would pop anything. I can draw the gun and put two rounds in it. At 7 yards into the K zone, point shooting at eye level in three seconds from the beep. PXL_20250308_191857576.jpg PXL_20250308_191751923.jpg

Im talking about matching belt/holster. Maybe with some form of ammo reserve.
.....You know, gunbelts!
Let's see them!
Here's a couple of mine...

The belts are from WE THE PEOPLE.
A bogo offer a while back....the 1911 sits in Bianchi leather.
The kframe in an offering from KALIBER LEATHER (Etsy).
I sold my last two when the belts shrunk and became too small ten years ago. :p

Here is my edc belt and holster.

The belt is an off the shelf, of which I have several. I rotate my belts, as I do my boots to give them a chance to dry out and cool down. My belts and holsters get buffed about twice a year. If they ned to be redyed, it might be time to replace them, it depends on the wear.

Not really a gun belt per sei. Just a heavier leather belt that can hold a holster if need be or just keep my pants from embarrassing me. Some things you just can’t unsee. It does hold a holster nicely.

Mine don't match, but you probably wouldn't realize it unless you look close. My belt is actually a Beiler's cow collar and I have a vintage Smith & Wesson lined leather holster that just about matches it perfectly. I also have two Benchmade hunting knives with leather sheaths and a first generation Leatherman Wave with a leather sheath, plus a Gransfors Bruks Mini Belt Hatchet with a leather sheath. They all go together when I'm out in the woods.

I really want to see pics of these. 😃

I have a belt and several interchangeable holsters that match it. I made all of it, but I only use it when hunting. It’s very purpose minded. I don’t do all the fancy carving and stamping, I just make the leather fit the gun and do its job. Not pretty, but very functional.

I would like to see this setup too.
