I was looking at these on the Remington web site. The stock looks kind of cheap - like the ADL synthetic stocks. Has anyone seen one of these? What did you think about it and the stock?

Thanks,
Steve

Yup---cheapie stocks on the Remingtons----till you get to the Titanium or custom shop offerings.

Yes...I have the BDL Stainless in the 30'06. Yes it has a cheap looking synthetic stock on it...but it is functional.Killed alot of deer with this rifle...both short and long range shots.

I did buy a H-S Pression stock for it.The rifle looked good in it,but I did not like the feel of it and went back to the rem. factory stock.

The gun shoots just as good in the factory stock as in the H-S stock.

I have no complaints the the rifle at all.

I have a M700 BDL SSDM in 308...no problems at all...stock seems a little cheap but otherwise its a good rifle overall.

No complaints with my 30-06 Rem 700 BDL. You can always replace it with a Boyds JRS Classic wooden stock.

I have a 700BDL with 5R heavy barrel. The rifle shoots where you point it and the stock doesn't add much weight to an already heavy rifle. Factory stock does what it is supposed to do.
