Not looking to ski or compete at a Olympic level. But like the straight pull actions. And would like to target shooting or hunt with one.
Is it one of the new "almost left hand" rifles or is it one of the old for real left-hand rifles?I managed to find a Browning T bolt left handed no less. My only complaint the mags can be a bear to load
Doesn't Volquartsen make a straight pull ?
It's a true left handed T bolt.Is it one of the new "almost left hand" rifles or is it one of the old for real left-hand rifles?

Then it's the old Belgium made T-bolt like mine,It's a true left handed T bolt.
Juat remember....no spare parts for Russian firearms due to embargo. Some of the Russian guns are reasonably priced.
$4500 for the Anschütz 1827 Fortner Biathlon model is kinda pricy, I’ve got a friend with one and it does shoot pretty well.
Mine is a Miroku then. Still nice little rifle decently accurate. Then it's the old Belgium made T-bolt like mine,
The new ones are made in Japan, really they are right hand actions, with a bolt on the left side...

This may be the right answer! Thanks...Hammerli has a straight pull general use rifle out now.

Reports have been that accuracy aint stellar.
Doesn't Volquartsen make a straight pull ?
The Hammerli seems like what I'm looking for.The Hammerli Force B1 has a price of $523 at Bud's currently. There are at least 10 videos on YT. Umarex seems more focused on features than basic accuracy, but time will tell if an aftermarket develops. Mags and trigger systems are said to use Ruger designs.
Yeah, you don't see the Marlins too often.Marlin made the 2000 series of Biathlon rifles many years ago. They aren’t straight pull, but if you can find one they were great shooters.
Shooting an all-blue 2000 got me into Summer Biathlon (Running/Shooting) back when my knees worked.
Stay safe.
