Does your LGS charge MSRP?

Mine charges nowhere near MSRP... He actually got a "nice" letter from Glock or a distributor, I can't recall, when he had a sale going that was actually below MAP. Had to change all the price tags from the below MAP price to "too low to show"

I rarely shop for new guns, but the last one I was close to buying was the Ruger 1911. Most of my LGSs had it for $620-$649 when it first came out but heard in other parts of the country shops were actually selling them at MSRP ($799??)

I have a half dozen firearms retailers within 50 miles from me and if any of them came close to MSRP, they wouldn't be on my radar. Most charge 10% above their cost. Of course, each one's cost varies depending on their size.
