Does your significant other shoot?

My "significant other" wants a Taurus Model 85 with pink grips.
If & when she consents to be my wife, I'll get it for her.

If it rings her bell, great. I hope you both become life long friends and companions.

Jokingly, I always point out pictures and ads of guns with pink frames or grips to my wife and she always makes negative comments. She prefers blued guns.:)

Not really but she finally got her license to carry. We have an unwritten rule here--I don't ask her how many saddles she has and she doesn't ask me how many guns I have. We are in MA with some screwy laws. When she realized that if she used one of my guns for defense while I was away, we would both be in the clink--she got her license. She comes to the range with me occasionally. I am not pressing here--in due time. I think she is embarrassed that she isn't a good shot. But, she prefers riding her horses over going to the range to practice. I am working on getting her to an Appleseed.

Yes, she does, and I am happy to say I got her into it (though not in a pushy way) and taught her. She had never fired a gun before we started dating.

Now, she actively looks for range time with the .38 S&W snub nose I got her. She likes to shoot lower-powered wadcutter target rounds at this point, but we're getting up to normal JHP rounds.
