Picked up 2 New-To-Me guns.
A S&W 65-8 & a Zastava M70-1

I had a Ruger GP100 in 357.
The handles were just a hair too big for my smallish hands.
The day I told my wife I wanted somethin' different I went to my LGS to use the range.
And as John, Paul, George & Ringo said,"I Saw Her Standing There."
Ya, she has that hillary hole but I was told it's been disabled.
And I want a full size hammer put back on it.
Also have some Altamont pearl stocks with a scrimshaw eagle for it.
Exactly the size I wanted. Not the greatest deal, but not the worst either at $600 OTD

Then to top it off gunbroker had surplus 32 ACPs for just over $200.
I couldn't decide, so I got both.

Nice!

Give it a run at the range as-is, I bet you’re point-of-aim right out of the gate. Somehow those fixed-sighted 4” K-frames just seem to be right on the money for me :).

The Model 65 is the only affordable “I must get one someday” K frame Model left that I really want to acquire. So sooner or later I’ll find a nice one like that and I’ll be complete. ;)

Once you spiff it all up let us know how it turns out.

Stay safe.

I recently acquired one of those Zastava M-70 pistols. It's surprisingly accurate, much more so than I had anticipated.

The trigger was atrocious. I field stripped the pistol, and deactivated the mag safety; that helped with the gritty feel.
I also worked on the bend in the trigger spring, got the pull weight down a bit.
It's better. It will never be a target pistol trigger, but it's better.

As for the SW 65 - I can't say anything about it that hasn't already been said. Good choice.

Is the Model 65 double action only? If so, the hammer spur will only help if the holster you use needs a restraint strap.

Here is my S&W Model 25-2 that I converted to DAO.

Some other work was also done but it has one of the best actions of all my carry or competition revolvers.

The model 65 is amazing. Granted, i don't like shooting .357 mags through it a whole lot because it's a k frame but it'll handle them just the same. Right now its my primary carry. Its a solid choice.

Is the Model 65 double action only?
No, I asked if it was. The salesman started a dbl action, stopped midway, and pulled the hammer back all the way. and shot it SA.

The current stocks make it look like a square butt, but its actually a round butt. So much for the pearl grips.

Hmmm, seems like a perfectly good reason to need a square butt K frame.
I don't want those beautiful grips just lyin' around.

Got a full hammer in it now. $96.00
I'll try to get new pics tommorrow.
But it's supposed to rain (so I guess that means it'll be sunny all day, eh?)

I have a model 65 police turn in that I think was bead blasted to a matt finish. And yes the sights are on the money for 158gr loads. And I only paid $280 about 10 years ago. You will really like that gun.

But I am also interested in your model 70 in 32acp. I really like that rouns but only have one gun in that caliber. A Walther/Manurin PP made in 1957 that is in almost perfect condition. I paid $250 for it in 2008 from an Austin pawn shop.
