Has anyone done any chrono'ing of Doubletap's 38 load to see if it lives up to the stated velocities?

Has anyone ever done any gel testing or anything?

I have both the DT 38's and BB 38's, and prefer the DT due to the lower recoil, but want to see if they are really putting out what they claim as I dont have a chrony.

Thanks

I tested 125gr DT .38 Special +P ammo from a 1.875" S&W M638 Airweight. Here are the numbers I got:
AV = 917.3 fps
SD = 7.6 fps
H = 924.5 fps
L = 906.1 fps

Considering DT is claiming 1,100 fps from the same length barrel I would say no, they don't live up to their posted numbers. I will say they did perform as well as the Speer 135gr .38 Special +P Short Barrel round and since the Speer rounds cost $23/20 rounds and the DoubleTap rounds cost $28/50 rounds that doesn't bother me. The Speer rounds are supposed to only achieve 860 fps from a short barrel but I got an average of 924.2 fps when I tested them in the same revolver as the DT ammo.
