Many of you suggested that I should draw a Revolver, so here you go. This is Skunkabilly's new J-frame Smith.

Special thanks to Skunkabilly for providing the photo. ;)

Wes

Whoops... a bit bigger than I thought it would be.

Apparently my resizing didn't work. It looks a lot better smaller, as it simulates a farther viewing distance. Since it won't resize, stand up and step a few feet back from the monitor. :D

Ah well. Thanks for the compliments. :)

Wes

Very nice Wes ... you do indeed have a flare for that.

Makes me want to get out my pencils and try it myself ... ages since I sketched, anything.

Any more later will for sure be enjoyed. Thx for posting.:)

If that is truly a hand-drawing, and not a photoshop filter (it actually looks like you did a hand-drawing to me, so I ain't doubting), then my hat is off to you... and it takes a lot to get my hat off...

So Wes, where's the High Power drawing? And one of a S&W HE 2 resting on a Wested?

Rob (Trebor from Indygear)

Wes,

BTW, I like the drawing. Nice rendering and shading. Sorry I didn't mention that before. It looks like pencil with maybe some charcoal for shading. Or is it all pencil?

Rob

Doesn't look half bad, Wes, but did you have to put the lock in there? I've enjoyed your other drawings as well.

You do requests?

Excellent. Draw one of his Elites

Thank you. I've been wanting to do an elite, so it should happen soon. :)

How bout' a pic of a Colt Government?

On the list. ;)

So Wes, where's the High Power drawing? And one of a S&W HE 2 resting on a Wested?

LOL, I've done a few HPs but haven't done a HE2 yet. I would like to draw a nice Indy Gear collage, but for some reason I keep putting it off. I really ought to, though. It's been a while since I've done any Indy drawing. If you want to see those, you can go to the gallery at www.theraider.net and see them. Oh, and yes, it's all pencil. I've misplaced my darker pencils and charcoals, and etc., and haven't been able to find them yet.

The other gun drawings can be seen here: (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66012&highlight=drawing and http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33043&highlight=drawing)

...but did you have to put the lock in there?

Hahaha, you know, I somehow didn't manage to put 2 and 2 together and realize that it was the lock. I suppose it would be an easy fix to get it out of there, if I hadn't sprayed fixatif on it. :uhoh:

If that is truly a hand-drawing, and not a photoshop filter (it actually looks like you did a hand-drawing to me, so I ain't doubting), then my hat is off to you... and it takes a lot to get my hat off...

LOL, thank you. Just to set your mind at ease, here's a little proof. :D

Thanks for all of the support. I'll be posting another one soon, hopefully.

Wes

Skunk, then will it be your BUG? :neener:

I just found another pic that I drew while bored at work. You've all probably seen the picture of a skeleton hand holding the empty Glock... But as others have so aptly put it, Glocks have no soul. So I re-did it with my BHP.

It's not perfect (far from it), and it has a few "issues," but it was just for fun.
