DRC Tracker lever action rifles. Maybe this is old news but I saw this a few weeks ago when looking for a DRC big loop lever. I'd love one in .454 Casull.

From their site ...

NOTE: THE DRC LEVER GUN IS NOT A REWORKED MARLIN. IT IS AN ORIGINAL AND CUSTOM DESIGN BY DAVID CLAY.

I had no idea Dave was working on a new proprietary action. Action probably feels like it's on roller bearings. Might ruin you for any other levergun! Very interesting.

Now get ready to hear some whining about the price. ;)

Have wanted one of those for some time now, but yes, price (especially lately) has been too prohibitive.

Starting at $2,495??

Yikes!!

I love lever-guns, but not that much.

Welcome to the world of semi-custom firearms where you can have it exactly the way you want it. Round or octagon barrel 16" through 26", stainless, blued or color case hardened, straight grip or pistol grip, walnut, laminate or fiberglass/kevlar stock.

I did notice that there's no external safety ...

Yes, I would bear in mind that these are probably built one at a time by Dave himself. No doubt with precision that would rival Freedom Arms. You can spend as much getting a Marlin converted and still have just a gussied up Marlin. Or about what it costs to have a Ruger single action converted to a five-shot .500.

I'll take a blued, 20" octagon .500Linebaugh with walnut, please. :)

i'd take the 475 linebaugh, because i already reload 480ruger which can be fired in that chamber

i used to really want one of the wild west guns guide guns
