Thanks guys for your help on the barrel length.

This beauty will enter the stable in 9-12 weeks (per the nice lady at DSA) :D

She will take her spot next to my DSA StG58A full sized rifle (and Garand, and M1A, and mil-surps, and...). Here are the specifics of the stock rifle plus a bunch of upgrades I ordered

    • SA58 FAL Carbine PARA Rifle
    • 16.25" Premium Bipod-cut Barrel with Threaded Belgian Short Flashider
    • Synthetic Hanguard
    • Folding PARA Stock
    • Type I (no carry handle cut) Receiver
    • Side-mount front sling swivel
    • Forearm accessory rail
    • M249 SAW Pistol Grip
    • Extended selector switch
    • Israeli extended mag release
    • Wide foot bolt hold open lever
    • Extreme Duty Extended Picatinny Scope Mount
    • A bunch of extra excellent condition Steyr mags

When I get it, I'll drop an EOTech on a QD mount on top. At some time in the future, I'll put a A2 Hampton lower on it.

    The credit card is smokin'...:cuss:

Congrats on the order. I placed my order in January for an SA58 Medium Contour cut down to 18", Para Stock, Scope mount... Planning an EOTECH also with their 4x magnifier.

    Waiting, waiting, waiting....

Total bill came to about $1750 which included about $300 worth of additional accessories.

From my experience in ordering the DSA FALs I've bought, their delivery estimates have been conservative for me. I've received my orders usually a month before the estimated time. One thing I really like about their guns is the manual is comes with. Very well done.

    Yup, here's its stable-mate-to-be - a DSA StG58A. It has been a great rifle.
