The .45 caliber variations showed up last year. The JG (Julie Goloski) model is new for 2008, as is anything Pro Series (be it semiauto or revolver). Not sure about the 5" 9mm.

Julie Goloski is an IPSC shooter right? Does she have/did she have cancer? What's the story? I'd probably get that version of the M&P9 over the others if it were for a good cause.

Someone in Julie's family might have suffered from breast cancer, or it just could be a cause that she believes in.

    Bless Ms. Goloski.

I hope everything works out with Julie/S&W's collaboration. Plus, my mother likes the pink palm swells.

    Like Those 5 inch Barrels!

I did not realize Smith had put out the two 5 inch 9mm's. I have an MP Full size 9mm with a 4 inch Barrel and a full Size .40-They are awesome guns! :) I am in the Market for another 9mm. So the timing is perfect. Sure wish they would come out with a Hi-Cap Mag for their .45 MP's I have been waiting for that for a while.

    The Best to All!

Seems like a good niche for the aftermarket... Red, blue, green, etc.

Flag colored palms? Red white and blue?

    That'd be neat.

Still, the Breast Cancer one really makes me proud of Smith and Wesson. (I've had girlfriends march for Breast Cancer Awareness, and have sponsored them.)
