Some of y'all post pics of some mighty fine EDC gear. I wondered what would be the dumbest package I could piece together without working too hard at it. Not much for staging, but here's what I came up with. I'm sure some of you can do better...

That's perfect, just slip it all in a pocket and go.

I prefer a ball peen hammer personally. Sure it doesn't hit quite as hard, but it's more maneuverable, and can be pocket carried without ripping the pocket out.

Though honestly, with a phone like that, the hammer seems a little redundant doesn't it? :p

That is one snappy telecommunication device

Love the revolver. Imagine the look on some bad guy’s face if you whipped that puppy out. :D

My EDC cell phone in 2000 looked just like that one.

Little known fact but a ball peen is also the best deer hunting hammer for bug out bags. City deer especially are susceptible to the hunting hammer
You don't want to be caught out during the end of the world without your hunting hammer.

Just hold out a slide of bread.....

I know from experience that a 7.5” .44mag Vaquero can be carried IWB at the 2:45 position as long as you don’t sit down.

    Perfect!

Maybe all I would do is swap one of those massive “survival knives” with the compass that unscrews to disgorge fish hooks, line, matches and other survival things?

    Stay safe.

Yes I could imagine that arrangement would make most activities somewhat difficult to perform and then there's the problem of having to take the bus any time you want to go somewhere...

I've always been partial to 106mm Recoilless Rifles. But they are hard to holster.

One of the guys I hunt with was giving me grief about carrying a sub compact 380, so at deer camp I put my 8" barrel super Redhawk in a bandolier holster under a vest. Just barely covered it. I also had my 5" folding kershaw knife.

Heck, I carry this with some frequency. If six won't do I can slip away in the smoke screen.
