Dumb Mosin Question

I know this may be a rather dumb question, but is the firing pin spring the same the same spec on a 91/30 as a M44, or is there a difference?

They are the same receiver. If there is a difference, I need educated.

The inner C ring on the receiver went away in ~1942.
A cost saving measure.

I like to build rifles on the old actions, but new Polish M44 stocks are better.
