Dumbest thing you heard/saw in a Gun Store or at the range.

About 12 years ago when my son was just getting into hunting, I signed him up for a hunter's safety course given by the Game and Fish Commission.
They had a different "expert" come in each night and talk about his specialty. Most of the speakers were pretty decent, not what I would call "experts" but seemed like pretty good guys, donating their time to a worthy cause.
Then one night this blowhard came in. He was pretty impressed with himself, even though he had no reason to be. I could tell he didn't know a whole lot about hunting and shooting even though he claimed to.
The topic was shotguns and a boy about 10 raised his hand and asked the difference between low brass and high brass shells. Mr. Expert replied "There is no difference. It's just a marketing ploy by the ammunition companies."
Hmmm. I guess all these years I could have been shooting doves with high brass and turkeys with low brass with no problem.

actually, with modern shells they both are interchangeable, and it is a marketing ploy, so, it matters more what is in the shell.
