Tried my first time using Duracote on one of my 1991A1's that's been needing a freshening.
I didn't go dual color, just flat black.

So far it looks okay except for the shine but that is supposed to go away as time progresses, my mistake which I'll live with for now is that I touched a spot on the frame so I have a blessed spot but since this is my first time with this product I figured to leave it & if it lasts as good as it's supposed to I'll refinish it properly.

I'm not good with paint. Duracote is great. Easiest and most forgiving coating I've ever worked with. It flashes over so quick that it's even easier than rattle can, with the exception of the mixing thing. It's amazingly durable. A flat color will matte as it cures. IIRC they sell a flattener adjunct.
