    My 686 came in today.

    1986

Straight to the gunsmith for inspection.

    No trigger work needed.

Mounted the Match Dot then straight to the range to sight it in.

50 yd silhouettes gonna get PINGED. :)

Nice setup! What kind of scope mount is that?

    Thanks

It's the Weaver #307 for the S&W frames before the factory drilled and tapped them.

They're getting more scarce all the time.

Couldn't help but go back today and shoot it for the second time.

(But nothing I own compares to the M41 at 50yds.)

Very nice. I bought a 586 with a red dot set up. It enables me to shoot like I could back when I could still see sights sharply. The 586/686 family are great guns.

    As purchased.

    GREAT looking Smith.

Amazing how accurate a handgun can be.
