Having just looked twice under "Outdoor Sports", no parts or components were listed, other than for Airsoft toy guns.

Was hoping to browse SKS slings (Yugo M59, the real 59-not 59/66) etc.

    Greetings
Go to the E place... type in mauser barrel... rifle barrel, Dan wesson, or whatever...
You might try looking in Sporting Goods.

    Thanks.
They no longer appear to list the word "Hunting" under the general sports category.
Typed in SKS slings etc, and on the upper left is the small word hunting. Strange.

While eBay & pay pal aren't very gun friendly, they're not going to loose that revenue. They're pretty strict on 10 rnd mags, but I see higher cap ones there all the time as long as they're listed as 10

I just looked up "Magpul magazine" on ebay and was shown various Magpul products including 10 rd mags but no mags with a greater capacity, however, I did see at the bottom of the page several sponsored links to other sites with links directly to 30 rd pmags and such.
I find some irony in the situation: we won't sell you a product because of our stupid ideology but we'll point you on the right direction:banghead:

All I know is that ebay is a goldmine for milsurp parts. I just typed in "Enfield No 4" and got 371 hits for parts.

I just got onto eBay and the Hunting category is there, it's listed under Sporting Goods, not Outdoor Sports. It has a gun parts sub-category as well.

Ebay and Paypal have become the biggest anti gun ripoff business around. There are thousands of crooked "sellers" on that site. Try to shop somewhere else. Just my opinion after being ripped off several times.

    Really?
In the last year I must have made at least two dozen purchases or won auctions and not once did I get "ripped off".

Of course, I do take the time to review the sellers feedback.;)

Just do a search from the main menu. eBay is actually leaning the other way. They now sell barrels and low capacity (10 rounds or less) magazines to name a few. eBay has quite a bit of firearms related stuff. It's not out of the kindness of their hearts. It is the money to be made.

Agree. I have had over 800 transactions since becoming a member in 2001 with only 2 or 3 problem experiences. As Tom said, checking the feedback history is the key.

I became an eBay member back in the 1990s. I had several bad transactions but never lost money on anything I bought on eBay and saved thousands of dollars shopping there. If you follow the rules and read the feedback, I think it's unlikely you'll lose money shopping there.

There was a time when, in my opinion, eBay was better. For a time they stopped allowing the sale of any gun parts. They have relented on the gun parts sales but make no mistake, the leaders of eBay and PayPal are antigun.

There are some things I need to buy on eBay but after their temporary stoppage of allowing one to sell gun barrels, I try to avoid using eBay and PayPal.

The guys I bought milsurp parts from are still there and not a one of them ever did anything less than they said they would. Every firearms related purchase I've made there was flawless. I'm careful to read and correspond and to check ratings before I make any purchases.

Anyone see any need to keep this open since we've demonstrated that Ebay is still selling firearms parts?

Flipping a coin using Ebay/Paypal on whether you get a smooth transaction or just getting ripped off with no support to remedy the situation.
Just Google any combination of Ebay or Paypal with scam, ripped off, etc. The results should scare anybody enough to stay far away from both those despicable businesses.

I was bidding on an S&W trigger there last week.
Unless things have changed in 7 days, it's business as usual.
Try being more specific in your search.

i've bought numerous gun parts and related items off E-Bay. All transactions went smoothly and i was never ripped off. There are many long time sellers with good records on E-Bay.
