Hi I'm new to your forum. I have the pistol you see in the title in .357 magnum. I have found a few threads about hammer springs but they are not longer accepting comments.

I am good with the hammer spring on this gun but the single action trigger pull is very heavy. Like over 8 lbs heavy. I am a rifle guy who has done many builds and worked many a trigger and sear, but I don't know any thing about these guns.

First, are their wolffe springs (or other) for these guns? Also, has anyone done work on the trigger themselves to lighten the pull?

Thanks all and thank you for letting me on your forum.

Why don't you visit the Wolff website to see what is available? If what you want isn't listed, you could contact them directly. I have gotten several spring sets for Ruger SP's and GP's. Additionally, you could do the "Poor Man's Trigger Job", which is frequently mentioned on many forums, and which worked for me. Sometimes the word "man" is substituted by the word "boy".

I did visit the site. I have wolff springs in a few of my gun upgrades. I may try to call them. I can difinitely try the poor man, I've worked a lot of triggers on my own. But I couldn't find any how to on this particular gun on youtube.

The Bounty Hunter has a transfer bar ignition so you can't go too light with the hammerspring or you get misfires. These kits should work....

Thank you for sharing. I think this goes to the heart of my question. Are these kits compatible with my gun? Can you share the differences between flat and wire? Sorry for all the questions but I've never tweaked one of these SAA type firearms.
