I have a guy offering to sell me this gun. It would be a carry gun so it HAS to be reliable. Anybody know anything about this model or maker? Thanks

Eagle

Gun Test magazine did a comparision on this and several other snub nosed revolvers a while back. The Windicator came out as a "Best Buy". It out preformed the Taurus straight up regardless of price.

If the deal is good (less than $200), I would do it.

Funny you mentioned $200. The price is $200 and includes a couple of boxes of ammo. Should I go for it?

Thanks Eagle

If you can test it before buying I would go for it. That is a decent price. Check some of the auction sites to get an idea. They aren't the prettiest guns in the world, but are supposed to be durable. For not a lot more though you might find a decent used S&W. I have seen used model 19's going for $239 or therebouts. Shop some of the gunstores for a day, then decide on the Windicator.

1.They're made in Germany
2.I own a 2" & 4" in .357mag
3.They are THE best buy for the money or several hundred dollars more!
4.I've shot wuss .38spl loads up to Fiocchis "knock your socks off" .357 mag through mine and its wonderful!
5.I've shot the 4" back to back with a friends 686 and much prefer the Windicator.
6.Buy it!:D
