I recently picked up a Witness 9mm and was told it is the small frame. I measured the mags with my calipers and the width (side to side) is .80 inches and length front to back is 1.255 inches. I'm trying to find out what mags will fit it without doing the order and return the ones that don't fit thing. On CDNN they list two mags made by Mecgar the MGGT2116b and the MGGT2115b, the 2115 is out of stock and not listed on Mecgars web page, and no dimensions are listed. If someone could measure them it would be great. Also will the Mecgar CZ75 mag work in the small frame witness? And if none of these work, where can I get mags for it. Thanks

I'd just call http://www.eaacorp.com , give them the dimensions and they;ll send the right mags. The lady working the sales phone has twice been able to get the correct mags to me for my 9mm and .40. They are expensive as single mags but ok if you buy 3 at a time.

Try looking on the CZ Forum. There's a magazine compatibility list. If you know the EAA model number (and you should) you can find it there.

Mec-Gar mags are first-rate. Many companies use them as OEM. Some aftermarket brands may be less expensive, but it's no bargain if it doesn't work.

Check with Midway and some of the other big mail order/internet vendors for the best prices. It's often as much as 30-50% less than what the factory charges for the same item.
