Can you put CZ night sights on a witness? I know it is modeled after the CZ's but I don't know how closely the dimensions are for smithing. Also, what else, if anything is interchangable with CZ?

And can a tac light be put on the Witness if I can't get night sights?

Thanks in advance! :D

Not directly. The current CZs have a pinned-in front sight and most EAAs have one integral with the slide. There may also be minor dimensional differences in the rear dovetail cut which would require that the sight be carefully modified to fit.

You can have about any brand of tritium sights installed on an EAA Witness, but it isn't a DIY unless you've a well-equipped shop and some pretty advanced skills to go with it.

My best advice would be to consult a professional gunsmith. Preferably one who's a member of the APG, IMO. While the job can be done by about any competent professional, these fellows are specialists of extraordinary skill and experience. Tell them what you need, and they can help you choose the best option and make it happen.

My choice would be to go with MMC if I was to get nites installed on my 10mm.
Have had them (adjustable nites) on 3 of my CZs so far, superb!
