Anybody here familiar with the Eagle Arms AR10/.308 by Armalite? I saw a used one for $750 today and that seemed like a low price.

Holy smokes! I fell asleep for a few minutes and just hit refresh. Okay, so what is this rifle worth? It's the flat top version with round aluminum handguard, little rail in front of handguard, standard rear stock, comes with 1 mag, no scope. Also, it is a heavy barrel but not stainless like I am seeing on most of the pictures I have found so far.

I don't have pics and didn't buy it yet. I was looking for something cheap in .308 since a friend has 700rds of LC .308 but no gun in that caliber. He also has a stack of FAL mags, but no FAL. There has been one of the Century FAL clones sitting on the used rack for $850, which I don't consider a good price for that particular gun. Today the AR10 was sitting next to it. It appears to be a nice gun, but I don't know anything about them.

You can probably re-sell the AR-10 for a lot more than $750 right now.

I would personally buy it. AR-10's are hard to come by.

If you bought it, you wouldn't happen to be interested in a Dan Wesson .357 with a 4 and 15 inch barrel would you? :neener:

If you don't buy it let your friend know that I am interested in that LC ammo. I have two AR 10s, they are getting expensive to feed.

Well, I went back today and decided the fact it was still there was an omen. Got out the door at $737.00 plus a second mag for free. Here's a couple bad quality pictures taken with the Blackberry...excuse the little camera hog.

Yatzee! Awesome score, man. You'll love the rifle, and the price was unbeatable.

Thanks! It was the absolute worst time of the year to have spent the money on myself, but there's always this 5 gallon water jug full of change I have accumulated...time to start rolling coins I guess.

I don't know when I am going to shoot it. I have a membership at an indoor pistol range, but they weren't too keen on me shooting out the back wall. Found out after I got home that I need taller scope mounts than anything I already own...wish I had realized that before I pulled the scope off the AR15 that was already zeroed.
