Well bought my self a little earlier X-Mas present. Been dreaming about this gun for weeks since it arrived at the local gun shop and finally decided to let it tag along home with me :)

.41 Rem Mag Ruger Redhawk with scope rings included

Just ordered 1000 pieces of brass from Starline and a set of dies so I'm almost ready to reload. Just have to pick bullets. I did buy two (very expensive) boxes of ammo to hold me over for a few weeks till my orders arrive.

Dang, you're serious about your brass! That ought to last you about forever. Nice gun.. are you going to cast for it?

Well being a nice 22 birthday present, I think that in the next 5 decades I'll use up that brass :p I figured since I'm ordering brass anyways and I have some extra money right now, I might as well get a big order and not have to order for a very long time (and I would hate to find out in 20 years that they don't make brass for it anymore or something crazy like that). Not setup for casting yet but eventually will get there. For now probably some nice Missouri Bullets will be the ticket for cast lead for it.

I'll only fine you one shilling if you promise to rectify that next year. :)

Congrats on your Redhawk in .41 Mag Lerk.

Well here in MN, we're in the middle of a blizzard, dropped a lot of snow already and what am I doing? Standing out on the deck in shorts and a t-shirt, blasting away a box of ammo at my shooting stump :)

You picked out a nice Xmas gift for yourself. I know you will enjoy it. I also use the Missouri 215 gr LSWC in my S&W 657.
