EDC Picture Thread!

Most of it rides on my belt (Kimber, Surefire, lighter, Leatherman, Kiridashi). Gerber and Bark River go in pockets. We are also "blessed" to have weather that warrants a coat around 8 months out of the year...so the LCR is convenient in an inside pocket most of the time.

Sometimes I leave the Tigerlight and the mag full of the '53 GI ball in the car.

Not pictured: My HTC Inspire used to take the pic.

Minotaur IWB tuckable holster
Leatherman Wave
Benchmade 910 Stryker
Luminox watch
Xeno E03 V3 LED light
Wallet
HTC smart phone

Besides my clothes and keys, that's all you'll ever find on my. Nothing fancy or extravagant.

I usually don't carry a spare magazine and these days, I rarely carry the Benchmade either.
So those are two things in the below photo that don't really qualify as "every day carry".

One thing missing with one of my most important items, my cell phone (HTC Rezound with extended battery).

The one thing I'd like to point out is the little flashlight in the photo, a Xeno E03 V3 is a significant downsize from my previous Inova X3 (80 lumens) yet is sooo much more powerful. It uses one AA battery to get around 120 lumens or a single 14500 Li-ion battery for a whopping 430 lumens. It will turn night into day without a doubt, yet is considerably smaller. It's quite impressive, especially considering the price ($25).

Ooh I'll play, my photo's a little outdated, have better holster&belt, and a BUG now amongst a few other changes. I'll take a newer one soon enough and post it here as well. Phone has a pretty good built-in flashlight, bigger flashlight and a lot of other stuff rides in my backback, which I didn't include contents from in this photo. My camera is part of my EDC, but I took the photo with it...

yup! I have wayyy too many knives, and that one is my absolute favorite by far. I don't understand why balisongs (butterfly knives) are illegal an many places. They are safer for the user's fingers than most folders, and take longer to deploy than most folders... but that's a rant for another thread. I can't say enough good things about this knife, it's never let me down, really helps when working fast tryin to get 'er done. They have a new one that just came out, I think they call it the 62, but it's waaaaay overpriced in my opinion, msrp is 2x what I paid for my 42, and the 62's handles are stainless steel unlike the titanium handles on my 42, besides that though I'd imagine it's a heck of a great knife.

They're scary! We can't have scary things!

Snowdog, what kind of battery life do you get from the Xeno E03 V3 light? Does it flicker or get really dim when the battery starts to get low?
Thanks!

I find 1 really sharp knife will do all of those.
One knife will....but where's the fun in that? I use every one I carry...and each one has sentimental value. They are gifts from family. 1 was my first anniversary gift from my wife. The other, a gift from my father (who I only regained contact with 3 years ago after a 20 year absence). I also like options and backups. If I lose one, or have one taken maybe the others will be luckier.

Glock 19C. A lot of Lone Wolf goodies inside. 124gr +p Gold Dots for food. Funny how the camera flash washes out the night sights and makes them look like stock white dots.

I don't have a picture, however my EDC is usually includes the following .........

S&W J Frame
Benchmade axis lock folder
SureFire E2e
Paracord bracelet
Swiss Army Tinker
Keys
Wallet

I'm pretty minimalist... Days I stay home it's a pistol (one of 3 1911s), a S&W spring assisted knife, my wallet, keys and a lighter.

Days I go out I add a 10rd magazine for the pistol and a larger, stouter folding knife. *Edit to add: I've always got my cell phone... So often that I forgot to mention it.

Mine hardly warrants a picture.

Colt Defender, Nick Matthews IWB
Wallet
Chapstick
Samsung Galaxy S
VW switchblade key, occasionally

revolving garbage,

Nice stuff, but I'd ditch the G.I. camp knife. Junk. A SAK will serve you much more faithfully. And, why the old '53 rounds?

Just need to add in my keys and wallet and sometimes depending on the situation/dress minus the Glock... though that's the exception rather than the rule.

You wouldn't say that if you ever saw a mad Filipino bar girl. :D
