I rarely have visited the activism threads until recent events have raised my ire.
It seems to me there might be many other people which might have done the same.
The thought occurs that as I travel through the various other forums, I could perform the valuable function of informing people about the recent information I learned in a recent thread in this forum.
I did not know my NRA membership did not contribute to lobby efforts on behalf of our 2nd Amendment rights.

While you're right we should be donating to the ILA fund. Just being a member of the NRA DOES help us, the more numbers we have and the more income (even not going to the legislative fund) makes us a stronger organization. When the NRA has 4.2 million members and sits down to talk with politicians, it's much bigger than if they had 50 members.
