There is a small discussion on the University Of Maine (which I go to) message board about that news story where the three rounds of 357 failed to immediately stop that psycho home invader. I just thought I would post what one enlightened college student by the name of Mark Dominique

    This is great.

    Mark Dominique writes:
i'd rather have black-talons... (tank piercing rounds) government or law enforcement issued... Gangs are getting them illegally (i believe through Mexico) and using them on the streets, they will go threw anything... (and a bullet proof vest doesnt stop it). Gangers call them cop-killers.

This is the kind of nonsense breeding in the colleges now. Oh Lord.

Be nice to the guy, he must have learned about them on the evening news. Did he mention how they were designed to expand faster and penetrate deeper than any other bullet? Or maybe how they can shoot down small aircraft? Me, I'm still looking for the 25mm handgun the media keeps talking about. Gotta get one of those.

They only work on bears if they're in 10mm

The Mexican Black Talons are filled with mercury and only work if the temperature is above 80 degrees fahrenheit. At lower temperatures they bounce back and kill the shooter.

Since Mexico is broiling hot, that should be no problem for the shooter - unless said shooter is in Maine during the winter. :scrutiny:

That's the kind of intelligent fool who would play Russian Roulette with a semi-auto pistol. Go get 'em!

Yeah, you can play russian roulette with EITHER trigger on your Taurus auto pistol. :)

Stop it guys - much like trying to read that Scottish-talkin' website, readin the ebonics give me a headache. But doncha 'member the Lethal Weapon movie where the black talons from Riggs's 9mm shot clean through the bulldozer's steel ???? (what the hell is the word for the front loader "bowl"??). Must be true.
